Rosanne Anderson Moon

Rosanne Schlichting Anderson Moon, Born in New York City on November 24, 1934, died on Friday, March 3, 2023 after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. Rosanne graduated from Wagner College in Staten Island with a Bachelors of science in nursing, and Edinboro University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelors in fine arts. Rosanne lived on Long Island, New York; Corry, Pennsylvania; Seneca, South Carolina; Bent Mountain, Virginia: and finally, Salem, Virginia. Preceding her in death are her husbands, Raymond A. Anderson, and Arnold R. Moon; Parents, Fred and Hettie Schlichting. Surviving are her three children, Jennifer Anderson (Rob) of Bent Mountain, Virginia; Elizabeth Lusk (John) of Trabuco Canyon, California, and Carl Anderson (Val) of Erie, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; Sister, June Braunlich; and numerous nieces and nephews Rosanne loved life and gave thanks to God every day for her blessings and asked him for daily guidance in all matters. Rosanne tried to return to others and this earth the love and gratitude for her blessings. A celebration of Rosannes life will be held at a later date.
