Ronny Taylor Angell, Sr., 70, of Salem, Va., transitioned to the other side on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
Ronny was a veteran having served in the US Marine Corp from 1968 to 1972 and fought in the Vietnam War.
Preceding him in death were his parents, John and June Angell.
His surviving family includes his children, Ronny Angell, Jr. and Jennifer Angell; brother, Barry Angell and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Kenny Gilmore, Ally Hurley, and Taylor Angell; great-grandchildren, Skylyn Gilmore, Aiden Gilmore, and John Smith; wife, Pattee Angell; stepchildren, Jamie Gray and Krissy Crouse; and many other special family members.
A celebration of Ronnys life will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2021, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. Family members and friends may begin gathering at 6 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Family members will officiate.
