Ronnie Wayne Oliver

Ronnie Wayne Oliver Sr., age 67, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 5, 2025, at his home. He was a beloved son, brother, and dad to many.

Ronnie was born on September 1, 1957, to his late mother and father, Landon Boyce and Letha Mae Sullins Oliver. Also preceding him in death were his three brothers, Charles B. Oliver, Jessie F. Oliver, and Ricky L. Oliver.

He is survived by four siblings, Linda R. Williams (Gary), Donald R. Oliver Sr., Norman E. Oliver, and Kathy M. Mills (Roger); daughters, Crystal Rose (Grayson Pennington) and Carlene Oliver (Joseph Peters); sons, Jerry Wayne and Ronnie W. Oliver Jr.; five grandchildren, Ledger M. Rose, Oakleigh M. Pennington, Afton G. Pennington, Maya R. Oliver, and Brandon Oliver; two great-grandchildren, Brandon W. Oliver Jr. and Brason W. Oliver; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Terry Sayers who looked after Ronnie for the past 7 years prior to his death.

Ronnie had a passion for working on vehicles and driving trucks for Joe Bandy & Son, Inc. He will be loved and missed by many.

Family and friends will celebrate Ronnie's life on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem, Va. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Butch Hammed officiating. Interment immediately follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke, Va.

The family has asked that no children attend the services.
