Ronald A. Whitesell

Ronald A. Whitesell, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 with his wife, Diane A. Whitesell, at his side. He was 70. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Dorothy H. Whitesell of Salem. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Amanda Robinson and her husband, Joseph, of Roanoke; sons, Brent Whitesell of FL and Mark Whitesell of GA; brothers, Barry L. Whitesell and his wife, Dianne, of Greensboro, NC and Don A. Whitesell of Salem; several grandchildren and nephews; and pet companions, Belle and Bambi. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association at 3959 Electric Road in Roanoke, VA 24018. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and staff of Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital 8 Mountain PCU. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel. The Whitesell family is being served by John M.
