Ronald Wayne Horne

Ronald Wayne Horne, 56, of Salem passed away Monday, September 12, 2011. He was born in Roanoke, a son of the late Jacquelyn Frazier Horne and Bobby Horne of Salem. He was a silversmith by trade, creating silver and turquoise jewelry and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his father, with whom he made his home, he is survived by two sons, Ronald and Zackary Horne; a brother, Creed David Horne; sister, Cynthia Horne Douglas and her husband William; his paternal grandmother, Lois Horne, one granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2PM, Friday, September 16, 2011 at the Chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. The Rev. Bobby Pickle will officiate.
