Ronald H. Horne, 77, of Shawsville, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 13, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on June 1, 1948, in Montgomery County, Va., he is preceded in death by his father, Raymond S. Horne.
Those remaining to cherish his memory are his mother, Shirley Horne; wife, Wendolyn Horne; son, Michael E. Horne and Crystal Dalton; grandchildren, Allen Horne and Samantha Rines; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Lilly Rines; brothers, Junior Horne and Curtis Horne; sisters, Nancy Keen, Luci Street, Sharon Pheonix and Martha Horne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Crystal Dalton, Rubymae Williams and the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate care and loving kindness given to Mr. Horne and their family during this difficult time.
