Roger Albert Smith

Roger Albert Smith, 91, of Osterville, MA, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012. He was born in East Dennis, MA, a son of the late Mildred Jenny Noonan and step-son of the late James Noonan. Roger was a WWII veteran of the US Army Air Corps and was employed with the Bureau of Naval Personnel in Washington, D.C. for over 25 years prior to retiring in 1976. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards and sailing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mildred Potter Smith; two sons, Garrett P Smith and his wife Tessie; Galen J. Smith; four grandchildren, Allison, Tabitha, Noah and Ruby, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Saturday, February 4, 2012 in the Chapel of John M.
