Roger Lane Slone

Roger Lane Slone, 66, of Salem, Virginia, passed into the arms of his Savior on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Odell Slone, and a precious daughter, Jessica Slone.

Roger was an outstanding automotive technician and was very well respected by both colleagues and clients in his field.

Roger is survived by his wife, Tammy Spain Slone; sons, Travis Slone and Justin Slone; granddaughter, Zaiah Hardin; mother, Jeannette Slone; brother, Ricky Slone; sisters, Gina Saul and husband, Kyle, and Shari Winebarger and husband, Jerry, as well as many extended family members.

The family would like to thank his caregivers Chastity and Katie for their dedicated care.

The family will welcome friends for visitation on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Steve Parker with interment immediately following in Sherwood Memorial Park.
