Roger Dwain Roberts Ii

Roger Dwain Roberts II, 56, of Roanoke, Va., died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 4, 2015. He was the son of Roger Dwain Roberts and was predeceased by his mother, Martha Slater Roberts. He is survived by his brother, Mark F. Roberts; sister, Cheryl Linn Roberts; aunt, Betty Stanley; uncle, Bill Slater; numerous friends; and a host of cousins and second cousins. Roger graduated from University of Virginia School of Law where he earned his PhD in International Law. He also studied in Russia, France, and Belgium. He was an accomplished pianist as well. He loved classical music especially Baroque and won many blue ribbons in music competitions. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015, at John M.
