Roger Lee Israel

Roger Lee Israel, 47, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017. He was the husband of Carol Israel. Mr. Israel was born November 3, 1969 in Eden, North Carolina, a son of the late Roger Allen Shore and Delphine Maude Kakappa Israel. In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his daughter, Lexi Israel; brothers, Richard Scott Israel, and Allen Wesley Israel and wife, Kelly; nephews, Axel Israel and Erik Israel; and nieces Mikallen Israel, and Tori Clinevell. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. with Pastor Leonard Southern officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
