Roger Lee Harrison, 66, of Vinton, Va., went to be in the arms of his loving wife on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Preceding him in death were his father, Willard Worth Harrison; brother, Terry Harrison; and wife, Nancy Bowles Harrison. His surviving family includes his mother, Lilliam Harrison, siblings, Red Harrison (Donna), Rich Harrison, Jimmy Harrison (Kathy), and Linda Ramsey (Ken); children, Lee Harrison (Sara) and Ben Harrison (Rachel); granddaughters, LeeAnn, Sierra, and Haeliegh; grandsons, Taylor and Bentley; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and beloved dogs, Taz and Rosie. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021, also in the chapel, with Pastor Bryan Buckles officiating. Entombment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
