Robert Keith 'Bob' Maxwell

Bob Poppy Maxwell, 80, of Salem, VA and Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017. He faithfully served for 25 years in security for U.S. Food Service. Poppy raised his granddaughter, Ashley, as his own. He was preceded in death by father, Cecil Maxwell; mother, Dollie Shelhammer; mother of his children, Betsy Baxter Maxwell; brother, Ronnie Maxwell, and sister, Lisa Shelhammer. Left to cherish his memory is son, Steve Maxwell and wife, Loretta; daughter, Stephanie Maxwell Plaugher; grandchildren, Ashley, Melanie, Shawn, Steven, Jamie, Bradley, and Jacob; brothers, Cecil Maxwell and Chuck Shelhammer; and great-grandchildren, Reece and Cierra.
