Robert Lee Hedge Jr.

Robert Lee Hedge, Jr., 60, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edna Davis; and mother, Kathryn Hedge. Robert was a gifted mechanic and avid fisherman. He spent many hours twisting wrenches and working on the vehicles he loved. He was also a NASCAR fan and loved RC planes and cars. Prior to moving to Roanoke, he lived in Tampa, FL. Family left to cherish his memory include his son, SGT (U.S. Army Ret.) William Robert Hedge and wife SPC April Lynn; granddaughter, Kathryn Lynn Hedge; father, Robert Lee Hedge, Sr.; brother, William Eugene Hedge and wife Dottie; former spouse, Cheryl Menard; and niece and nephew, Christopher Hedge and Cynthia Hedge. A graveside service to honor Roberts life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. Online condolences may be expressed at www.johnmoakey.com.
