Robert Kilgore 'Bob' Colley

Robert Bob Kilgore Colley, 76, of Salem, VA passed away Monday, November 05, 2012. He was born September 23, 1936 in Clintwood, VA son of the late Jasper K. and Margaret Meade Colley. He was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy Clay Stout; and two brothers, Wayne and Carl Colley. Mr. Colley was a US Marine Veteran and retired from Carter Machinery as a heavy equipment mechanic. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Wickham Colley; sons, Robert L. Colley and wife, Veronica and Mark E. Colley; brothers, Lewis Colley and wife, Edna, L.P. Colley and Harry Colley and wife, Theresa; sister, Anita Matuszko and husband, Anthony; granddaughter, Katy Colley; and great-granddaughter, Mia. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Rev. Butch Hammed officiating. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Mr. Colleys name to the American Heart Association.
