Robert Wayne 'Bob' Butterworth

Robert Wayne (Bob) Butterworth, 68, of Salem, passed away on March 1, 2015. He was born on March 26, 1946, to the late Harvey E. and Florence Caldwell Butterworth. He is survived by his wife, Kay Mitchell Butterworth; a son, Robert Wayne (Rob) Butterworth II and his wife, Renee; brother, Billy E. Butterworth and wife, Carol; brother-in-law, H. Lee Young, Jr. and his wife, Liz, of Virginia Beach; grandson, Ryan and fiance, Taylor; nieces and nephews; aunt, Mildred Butterworth; and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at Vinton Baptist Church at 11:30am on Friday, March 6, 2015, with Dr. William Booth officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later time. His family will receive friends one hour before the service and other times at the home of Kay or Rob and Renee Butterworth. Special thanks from the family to the Good Samaritan staff and Carrington staff taking care of Bob.
