Robert "Bobby" "Bobby" Bennett

Robert Bobby Bennett, 53, of Salem, VA went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2023. Bobby loved his family and was willing to help them out in any way he could. He had a caring personality that motivated him to help others. He had a strong love for the lord and enjoyed sharing the word of God with many people. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Wayne R. Davis. Those left here on earth to cherish his memory include wife, Cherie Davis; daughter, Laken Tidwell; stepson, Jonah Spencer; parents, Sharon Davidson, and Tom Ramsey (Deanne); siblings, Mechelle Bennett-Stump, Mark Jordan, Scott Jordan, Denise Kennedy, and Kari Ramsey; mother-in-law, Carol Davis; sister-in-law, Angie Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Taylor Plott officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Roanoke, VA. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
