Rita Montalbano Wilson, of Salem, passed away on Thursday morning, March 12, 2015, at Snyder Nursing Home at the age of 95. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 27, 1920, the eldest daughter of John and Mary Montalbano. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Hooker Wilson; and her 6 brothers, Sam, John, Anthony, Pat, Henry, and Billy. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters, Lorraine Standige, Gloria Dumestra, Margaret George, and AnnaMae Derenbecker. She is survived by her sister, June Fredrickson of Gretna, Louisiana; and her daughter and son-in-law, Wyn and Marty Yuhas. Also surviving is her grandson, John David Hudson, Jr.; and great-grandson, John David Trip Hudson. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank Ann LeDe, Shirley Blair, and Snyder Nursing Home for the wonderful care she received. Funeral services will be private.
