Rita Marie Mathewson

Rita M. (Paquette) Mathewson, 98, of Salem, VA and formerly of Blackstone, MA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July, 6, 2018. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Elosia (Dupuis) Paquette; two brothers, Adrien and Roland Paquette; and four sisters, Lina, Emma, Bertha, and Flora. Left to cherish her memory is daughter, Sue Glockner and husband, Louis; grandchildren, Angela Lorton and husband, John, and Michelle King and husband, Kenny; great-grandchildren, Megan, Heather, Hillery, and Hayden; great, great-grandchildren, Grace, and Wesley, Elle; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Snyder Nursing Home for all their love and laughter throughout Ritas care.
