Ricky Ollie Branham

Ricky Ollie Branham, 60, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, February 8th, 2022, at Lewis-Gale Medical Center, Salem. Born on January 5, 1962, in Amherst, Va. to the late Walter Ollie and Lula Johns Branham, he is also proceeded in death by his brother, Dennis Banham and sisters, Ann Branham, Catherine Branham, and Darlene Goff. Ricky loved the great outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He adored his family and was a wonderful husband, father, and doting grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Debra Branham; son, Cliff Johns; stepdaughters, Wendy Sloan and Kimberly Blackwell; grandchildren, Alexis, William, Jacob, Caden and Dixie; brothers, Ray Branham and Don (Vicky) Branham; sister, Bertha Branham, brothers-in-law, Charles (Mary) Arnold and Harry Arnold; Sister in-law, Linda Fisher; special nephew, Michael Branham; special niece, Lula Branham, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., with Milton Atkins officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at St. Pauls Cemetery, Monroe, Virginia.
