Rebecca A. Caldwell, 72, of Roanoke passed Saturday, January 2, 2016. Preceding her in death are her parents, Irvin Nelson Caldwell and Mary Kathleen Caldwell; and brother, Ronald Edward Caldwell. Surviving loved ones are sisters, Peggy Nixon and Barbara Hensley; great niece, Beth Caldwell; great, great nephews, Dallas, Otto, and Eben; special friend of 40 years, Nora Furr; godchildren, Tammie Garcia and James Wheeling; and other nieces, nephews, and family members that loved her. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 4 p.m. with a period of visitation one hour prior. The family would like to give Robin Allen a special thanks for her compassion.
