Randy Scott Turner

Randy Scott Turner, 45, of Roanoke, was claimed by God as one of His sheep on Monday, January 4, 2016. He loved trout fishing, telling his tall stories, and hunting in his spare time. He also loved his friends and family very much. Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Margaret Bowman and Harry and Frances Turner; and father, Harry Roger Turner. His surviving family includes his mother and stepdad, Mary and Ronnie Lawson; sisters, Tessie Roberts and husband, PeeWee, Tammie Hammond and husband, Clifford, and Nancy Clyburn and husband, Michael; and several uncles, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2016 in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem with the Rev. David Keaton officiating.
