Rachel Carolyn Porter, 76, of Salem, Va., was promoted to glory on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was born September 2, 1944. Rachel lived in Salem, Va. with her husband of 30 years. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Edgar C. Porter; daughter, Robin Woods; son, Randy Woods; grandchildren, Carl, P.J., Mandy, and Chelsie; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Jayce, Jayden, Wyatt, Mabel, and Annie; as well as numerous family and friends.
