Rachel Ridgeway Howell

Rachel (Ridgeway) Howell, 67, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Rachel is preceded in death by her parents, James W. Ridgeway, beloved step-mother, Jean Ridgeway, and beloved mother, Amanda T. Bowles. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Tina Horn Raines and husband, Walter, and Malinda Oliver Hall; grandchildren, Timothy Lafon and wife, Julia, Dustin Snider and wife, Tessa, Daniel Raines, and Allison Raines; great-grandson, Jaxon Lafon; siblings, Charlotte Hamlin, Sherry Tolbert, Rose Estes, and Vickie Campbell and husband, Jerry; special friend, Robert Bob Meador. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2018 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem, with an hour prior visitation.
