Rachel Jackson Blankenship

Rachel J. Blankenship, 100, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. L. Blankenship, Sr.; daughter, Gladys; and son, Larry. Left to cherish her memory are sons Garry and Sonny and wife, Mary; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great, great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the funeral home with a committal to follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
