Philip Eugene 'Buddy' Snead

Philip Eugene (Buddy) Snead, 85, of Salem, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018.
Buddy was one of the Lakeside Boys, and officiated football in Salem and Raleigh for 30 years. He was also a veteran of the US Army.
Preceding in death was his brother, Leonard Snead.
His surviving family includes his wife of 32 years, Mary Snead; children, Andy Searight, Sandie Faughnan, and Vickie Lewis and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Christen, Tori, Michael, and Madison; great-grandson, Caden; and a nephew, Jon Snead.
The family thanks Amedisys Hospice for their help in time of need.
Military funeral honors will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 8, 2018, at Sherwood Memorial Park.
