Penny Suzanne Mcdonald

Penny Suzanne McDonald, 51, of Daytona Beach, FL and formerly of Christiansburg, VA passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011. She was born May 12, 1960 in Richmond, VA. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Edward McDonald; son, Zachary Linkous; grandparents, Howard and Margaret McDonald and Rev. Perry and Maggie Richardson. She was a graduate of Christiansburg High School and attended New River Valley College. She is survived by her mother, Linda Richardson Koalkin and husband, Gene; daughter, Yardley Paige Bales; step-children, Randy Bales, Jr. and Sonya Bales; brother, James L. Crosier and wife, Tracie; half sister, Misty McDonald; nephew, Brandon Crosier; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and fianc, Scott Jenkins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the First Church of God, 650 Canaan Rd., Christiansburg with Dr. James Bradley and Rev. Tim Gearheart officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. John M. Oakey and Son, Salem is serving the McDonald family.
