Sheila Garman, Travis Aldridge, and Charles Aldridge are heartbroken but by Faith, were happy knowing our mother, Peggy Y. Aldridge is rejoicing in Heaven as of July 22, 2023.
She's completely healed and back together with the love of her life Charles, she had missed Dad so much after he passed. She leaves a legacy of love instilled in her three children, five grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren who had her support in every way and were loved with all her heart. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Aldridge Sr.; sister, Nancy Sink; and brother, Richard Young.
In addition to her children, she is survived by her sisters, Helen Janice (Melvin), and Lois Marie (Walter); and brother, Glenn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Fellowship Community Church Fellowship Hall, 1226 Red Lane Ext., Salem, Va. 24153, with Pastor Philip Johnston officiating. An informal visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the church.
A time to share memories of Peggy will be held during the service; should anyone have anything they'd like to share, please have that prepared.
