Paul Eugene Taylor

Paul Eugene Taylor, 80, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013. He was born on June 17, 1933 in Nitro W.V. to the late Carl Lewis Taylor, Sr., and Edna Burch Taylor. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country during the Korean conflict. He retired after 20 plus years of dedicated service as a loan officer with Ashland Finance. For the last 28 months he had been residing at Emeritus at Ridgewood Gardens in Salem where he received outstanding care. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Lewis Taylor, Jr. and Robert Edward Taylor, and two sisters, Edna Virginia Taylor and Katie Sue Taylor. Surviving family includes his brother, John David Taylor; sisters, Mary Jane Wall and Martha Mae Taylor, and special nephews and nieces, Mike Taylor, Barry Taylor, Scott Taylor, David Taylor, John Wall, Greg Wall, Linda Taylor, Judy Taylor and Karen Gann. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 12 noon at the South West Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin where military rights will be conducted.
