Paul Henry St.Clair, Sr., 78, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2016.
He had been a faithful member of Gospel Baptist Church for 46 years.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Earnest and Clarice St.Clair.
His surviving family includes his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Johnson St.Clair; children, Paul St.Clair, Jr. and wife, Sharon, Bonnie Mason and husband, Randy, Kathy Finkbeiner and husband, David, and Rene Scott and husband, Lawrence; grandchildren, Amy, Jonathan, Felicia, Katie, Emily, and Becky; great-grandchild, Benjamin; sisters, June Altizer, Billie Jean Lazore, and Carolyn Butt; brother-in-law, Robert Johnson and wife, Rosella; and special friends, Ernest and Sally Havens.
The family thanks the staff in the Lewis-Gale CCU as well as the Salem Fire and Rescue personnel for the loving care they have provided.
Periods of visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016, as well as from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016, in the funeral homes chapel with Rev. Don Woodard, Rev. Sam Huntley, and Mr. David Finkbeiner officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem.
