Paul Douglas Conner

Doug Conner, 71, of Salem went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 7th, 2015. He was born in Check, VA on October 16th, 1943. He was the son of the late Raymond and Ruth Conner. He was preceded in death by brother, Harold Conner and sisters, Eleanor Gender and Ava Ebersole. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Conner. Sons and wives, Mike and Elizabeth Conner, Randy and Sharon Conner and Steve and Michelle Conner. Grandkids, Cameron Conner and Lynze Conner. Brothers and wives, Clyde and Carolyn Conner and Joe and Lois Conner. Sisters, Esther and Richard Kiser and Wanda Minnick. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Bobby Kelly and Terry Lane. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday, June 11, 2015 in the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son with Rev. Bob West officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Internment will follow at Salem Cemetery, Check, VA.Visitation
