Patty Sue Hale

Patty Sue Hale, 71, of Salem, Va., passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Patty was a loving and caring person with a big heart. She was special in many ways and was a rock for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking care of her plants and dancing. While she will be greatly missed, there is peace in knowing she is with the Lord in a better place.

Preceding her in death was her first husband, Leonard Hale; parents, Robert and Evelyn Flint; brothers, Michael and Bobby Flint; sister, Linda Reedy; and granddaughter, Brianna Nelson.

Her surviving family includes her second husband, Noah Hale Sr.; brother, Tim Flint (Tracey); sisters, Brenda Beckner and Wanda Jennings; children, Tommy Hale (Debra), Lisa MacFarland, and Noah Hale Jr.; grandchildren, Candice King, Dustin Dudley, Brittany MacFarland, Chelsie Tunstall, Bradley Tunstall, Haleigh Hale, Emma White, and Casey Hale (Ralston); great-grandchildren, Caden, Liam, Brynleigh, and Bentley; and nephew, Mikey Flint.

A period of visitation will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, Va. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home's chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery in Roanoke, Va.
