Patsy "Pat" Waldron

Patsy Hooker Waldron, 74 of Elliston, Virginia went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 29, 2022. Born to the late Gene Eugene Hooker and Elsie Mae Palmer Hooker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Mildred Boone, Sue Bryant, and Dottie Hooker; brothers, Ronnie Hooker and Billy Joe Hooker. Pat retired from Richfield Retirement Center as a CNA after 32 years of service, she was also a member of Gospel Baptist Church and will be dearly missed by her church family. Pat leaves behind her one true love son, Donald Waldron, and his wife, Diane; granddaughter, Keri Hodges husband, Jarrett; brother, Jerry Hooker; and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Palliative Care at Roanoke Memorial Hospital for taking such good care of Pat when she needed it the most. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Gospel Baptist Church, 5921 Dow Hollow Road, Salem, Virginia. The time for service has not been determined.
