Patricia Mae Wilkerson Buckley

Patricia Wilkerson Buckley, 90, of Culpeper, Va., and formerly of the Salem and Roanoke areas of Va., passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Pat was a mother and nurturer of many. Her love language was food, and she was the epitome of southern hospitality. She was a strong advocate for individuals with special needs, serving on various boards and committees over the years. She was everyone's biggest champion.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Leo P. Buckley, Jr.; and children, Kevin Dodson and Kaitlin Buckley.

Her surviving family includes her children, Pamela Dodson, Megan Haught (Matt), and Patrick S. Buckley; and grandchildren, Blair, Tyler, and Jesse Dodson and Emma, Olivia, and Miller Haught.

Family and friends may gather beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem, Va., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Sherwood Memorial Park, also in Salem, Va.
