Norman William Asbury

Norman W. Asbury, 81, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. He was born on January 16, 1937 in Tazewell, VA. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Emma Waddell Asbury; and brother, Talley Greek Asbury. Norman is survived by his wife, Judy H. Asbury; brother, Roy Asbury of Narrows, VA; brothers-in-law, Richard Hatcher and Donald R. Smith; and many nieces and nephews. Norman held many fond memories of growing up in West Virginia and cutting up with his brothers. His mother was a strict disciplinarian and there was no wait till your father gets home edicts with her, she took care of things herself. Per Normans request, he will be cremated.
