Nellie Michelle Prater

Nellie Michelle Hall Prater, 60, of Elliston, VA passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021. She was born June 22, 1960, in Salem, a daughter of the late Emmett Lee Sonny Hall and Frieda Underwood Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie G. Prater; two siblings, Jerry Catfish Hall and Julia A. Beheler Smith. Surviving is her daughter, Crystal Hall; step-children, Sissy McNeil (J.D.), Michael Prater (Kerry), and Tonia Peters (Manfred); ten grandchildren, Gracian, Ethan, Aimee, Buck, Christian, Savannah, Dylan, Jada, Kaylee, and Mason; three great-grandchildren, Ivee, Elijah, and Evan; sisters, Betty DeHart Thomas and Janice Beheler Hall (Steve); brothers, Eric Hall (Pam), Dennis Hall, and Danny Hall. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions and weather uncertainties, a Celebration of Life will be held on June 19, 2021 at Green Hill Park in Salem, VA.
