Nellie Lambert Hurley, 72, of Salem, VA passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015. She was born June 4, 1942 in Bluefield, WV a daughter of the late Clarence and Bessie Bowling Lambert. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kevin Hurley and grandson, Charles K. Hurley, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Barry Hurley and Larry Hurley; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Mary Altie Lambert; six grandchildren, Josh and wife, Ashley, Seth, Tyler, Alexis, Austin and Cheyene; two great-grandchildren, C.J. and Abbey; and two nieces, Cindy Opperman and husband, Ty and Debbie Sanford and husband, Steve; and one great-niece and one great-nephew.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 14, 2014 at Sherwood Memorial Park Abbey Chapel, Salem. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. John M. Oakey and Son, Salem is in charge of the arrangements.Service Information
