Naomi Altice Carroll

Naomi Altice Carroll, 84, of Salem, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 15, 2015. She was born on December 5, 1930 in Roanoke County to the late Rufus Howard and Daily LaPrad Altice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Howard Edward Carroll, and her daughter, Kathryn Lew. Family remaining to cherish her memory includes her daughters, Linda Lacks (Bennie) and Ann Chandler (David); son Randy Carroll (Patty); grandchildren, Renee Penn, John Nelson, Mercedes Lew, Stefanie Lacks, Amanda Lacks, Malcolm Mason, Deidra Carroll and Chase Carroll; numerous great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sandra Cole. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 6 until 8 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.
