Nanette Lynn Waggie

Nanette Lynn Waggie passed away at the age of 50 on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Its that Heart of Gold and stardust soul that made you beautiful! (R.M. Broderick) Nanette was born in Manassas, Va., on February 10, 1972. Her family moved to Roanoke shortly after. Nan graduated from Cave Spring High School and then studied at Radford University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences. Nan moved to Charleston, S.C., and received her master's degree in IT, Information Technology and System Analysis. At the time of death she resided in Salem. Va. Nan was preceded in death by her father, Roger Eugene Waggie; and sister, Kimberly Waggie Goldsmith. She is survived by her mother, Shelia Waggie; son, Jake Thompson; and multiple other family members and friends. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
