Nancy Mills Wright

Nancy M. Wright, 71, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 22, 2021. Among her favorite things to do was watch cooking shows and sit outside with Linda to watch the birds. Above all, she adored her grandchildren most. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ward Warren and Martha Jewell Mills; siblings, Johnny Mills, Phyllis Grinnell, Esther Wilburn, Ward Warren Mills Jr., and Benny Lee Mills; and daughter, Audrey Wright. Her surviving family includes her children, Melissa Wright Hughes, Bobbie Jo Kiser-Knowles (Jason), and Chuck Wright (Robyn); grandchildren, Dylan Kiser, Mia Wright, Gavin Knowles, Kalum Kiser, Reilly Knowles, Kennedy Wright, and Adaline Jolee Kiser-Knowles; brothers, Kenny Mills and Dennis Mills (Bev); a brother-in-law, Doug Grinnell; and other family members including 4 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 great-nieces, and 4 great-nephews. A celebration of Nancys life will take place on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. with a service at 5 p.m. Rev.
