Nancy Jo Turner

Nancy Jo Turner, 72 of Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Lewis-Gale Medical Center. Born Tuesday, September 6, 1949, in Roanoke Va. to the late Jeff Jackson and Clarise Pauline Jackson Smith. In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Big Dan Smith and brother, David Jackson. Nancy was good hearted and full of life. She was always there to cheer you up, even if she was feeling bad herself. She loved being a jokester and had a fun time playing bingo. Nancy was a very hard worker and retired from Napa Auto Parts after 30 years of faithful service. Following her retirement, she worked another 5 years at Dollar Tree. Family remaining to cherish her memory includes her son, Eric Turner of Roanoke; her special friend, Linda Moody; grandchildren, Nathaniel Turner, Christian Turner, and Hannah Turner; and her nephew, Adam Smith. A celebration of Nancys life will be conducted on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at 4:00 pm in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, 305 Roanoke Boulevard Salem, Va., with Rev.
