Nancy Ann Slaughter

Moonwalker Nancy Ann Slaughter has gone to meet Telephone Man Mac on the Appalachian Trail. Nancy was born in Omaha, Neb., on Friday, December 20, 1935, and died in Salem, Va., on Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was preceded in death by her 20-year partner in life and marriage, G.A. (Mac) McDaniel; as well as her parents, her sister, a daughter, a son, and their father. She is survived by a daughter, Jeanie and husband, Doug; son, Brian and wife, Kim; son, Chris; grandchildren, Jackie and husband, Bobby, and Emily and husband, Austin, Spencer, Brandon, and Keeley; and two great-grandchildren, Delaney and Grayson.
