Nancy K. Kitty Haley, 64, of Salem, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011.
She was born in Roanoke, a daughter of the late Ledo Neal and Maggie Brown Neal and had been a Salem resident for most of her life. She was employed as a beautician for many years prior to entering the food service industry. She was the former owner and operator of Miss Kittys Restaurant in Salem, and most recently was employed as a dietary supervisor at the Western Virginia Jail. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Douglas Haley, Sr., a son, Michael D. Haley, Jr. and two brothers.
She is survived by a son, Bob Haley and his wife Mandie; two grandchildren, Cameron and Olivia Haley, a brother, Tommy Neal; daughter-in-law, Jessi Haley and sister-in-law, Gail Neal.
A graveside service will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Evergreen Burial Park. Chaplain Dave Vanderpool will officiate.
