Mildred Ratcliff Dudley

Mildred Ratcliff Dudley, 94, of Salem and formerly of Elliston, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 1, 2012. Her passion in life was taking care of her family. Preceding her in death was her husband, Elmer (Doc) C. Dudley; sons, Alvin H. Dudley and Dennis C. Dudley; brother, Ed Ratcliff; sister, Bea Dalton; and great-grandson, Micah Austin Ferris. Her surviving family includes her grandchildren, Cindy (Prissy) Ferris and husband, David, Melissa Roberts and husband, Jessie, and Kevin Dudley; great-grandchildren, Samuel David Ferris and Jarod Palmer Roberts; nieces, Maxine Caldwell and Barbara Spence; and many other family members. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg with Pastor T.G. Ayers officiating. There will be no period of visitation.
