Mildred Irene Burton

Mildred Foster Burton, 90, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Burton and son Gary Burton. She is survived by daughters, Melanie Burton Leavitt (Merv), Deborah Burton Boitnott (Murrill), and a son, Matthew Foster Burton. She was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren; Amy Burton Simonpietri (Sean), Alison Burton Bundy (Matt), Ashley Burton Ovsenjenko (Michael), Jonathan Burton Leavitt, Sara Leavitt Campbell (Chris), Kaylin Leavitt Welch (Rob), Emily Boitnott Jennings (Jody), Holly Boitnott Furtick (Steven), Joy Lillian Boitnott, Matthew Foster Burton Jr, Daniel Burton (Jennifer), and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Chapel of John M. Oakey & Son, Salem. Burial will be private.
