Dennis Witt, 77 of Salem, died on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stewart L. and Frances P. Witt; sister, Teresa Taylor (Jay), and brother, Herman Witt (Peggy).
Dennis is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris Hix Witt; daughters, Melissa Floyd, and Tessa Rider; grandchildren, Lydia, Grant, and Brayden Floyd, and Bailey Rider; sister, Charlotte McBride (Jerry); brothers, Gary Witt (Bev), Terry Witt (Judy), and David Witt (Libby); and his brother-in-law, James Hix (Rosanne).
The family will receive friends for a period of visitation on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home located in Salem.
Per Dennis's wishes, no services will follow.
