Michael Ryan Trail

Michael Ryan Trail (Trailor), 20, of Salem, passed away in a tragic auto accident on Saturday, August 31, 2013. He was a Washington Redskins fan, liked to fish, and enjoyed hanging out with his family members and friends. Preceding him in death was a great-grandfather, Clarence Francisco, Sr.; grandfather, George Bill Trail, Sr.; and grandmother, Judy King. His surviving family includes his great-grandmother, Ada Francisco; grandmother, Betty Trail; mother, Brenda Trail; father, George Bill Trail, Jr.; stepmother, Abbie Trail; brother, Tony Trail; sister, Casey Trail; stepsisters, Chelsea and Mackenzie Graham; uncle, Andy Trail and wife, Wendy; aunt, Rita Richardson; special friends, D.J. Myers, Kristen Knighton, Patrick McNabb, and C.T. Webster; and numerous other family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 from 5 to 9 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A service celebrating Trailors life will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 2 p.m., also in the chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Pastor Al Woodie will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations in Trailors name may be made to the Catawba-Masons Cove Rescue Squad at PO Box 125 in Catawba, VA 24070.
