Michael Gregory Mundy

Michael Gregory Mundy, of Salem, passed away at the age of 26, March 19, 2022. Michael was known for his big heart and his willingness to help anyone. He was eccentric and a bright spot in everybodys lives. People who knew Michael know that he was a passionate person who wanted everyone to be included. He loved music, the outdoors, his friends, and his family. Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Tommy Worrell, and paternal grandmother, Brenda Mundy. He is survived by his paternal grandfather, Lawrence C. Mundy, and wife, Becky; maternal grandmother, Mary Worrell; mother, Lisa Mundy; father, Lawrence Gregory Mundy; brother, Thomas Mundy; and sister, Kaylee Mundy, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from 2 until 4 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, in Salem. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, in Roanoke.
