Michael William Mabry

Michael "Mike" Mabry, 70, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. He was born on June 7, 1955, to William and Delphia Mabry. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and attended Villa Heights Baptist Church for many years.

Mike spent much of his working life driving tractor trailers and working for Valley Rich Dairy, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

In 2004, Mike married the love of his life and soulmate, Sandra Mabry. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter and family. Mike was a proud and devoted father to his three daughters, Amy, Dana and Beth, whom he loved more than anything. He was also blessed with a bonus daughter, Genea, who was not only family, but his best friend.

Mike cherished time spent with those he loved most. He enjoyed trips to the beach, making memories with his family, and spending time with his beloved pups. With his big blue eyes and unforgettable smile, Mike had a natural way of making people feel welcome and cared for. His sweet nature and loving heart are what so many will remember most about him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Sandra Mabry; daughters, Amy Mabry Cundiff, Dana Mabry and Beth Mabry Clark; bonus daughter, Genea Parrish, and stepson, Rusty Parrish. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Jeffrey Haga, Jayden Mabry, Jordyn Mabry, Chloe Cundiff, Samantha Clark, Brielle Davis, Sean Clark, Kiera Mabry, Emmy, and Ali, as well as great-grandchildren, Kavea and Kaziah Lloyd and Noah, Cade, and Skye.

The family will welcome friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor David Shearer officiating. 

Though Mike will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing he is now at peace and resting in the presence of the Lord. His love, kindness, and bright spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
