Michael Fox, 64, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021.
Preceding him in death was his beloved wife, Ava; his father, Grover Fox; mother, Magnolia Fox; and sister, Sylvia Legg.
His surviving family includes his brothers, Tommy Fox and wife, Sharon, Monty Fox and wife, Lynn, Jeff Fox and wife, Pam, brothers-in-law, Tommy Legg, Robert Lee Livingston, and Allen Keith Graham, Jr.; sister-in-law, Linda Joanne Hardy; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved cats, Miracle, Maria, and Jasmine.
Mike was a devoted husband and loved to care for animals. Mike served the Lord as a professional painter for 35 years at Richfield Retirement Community in Salem. Mike loved the Lord greatly. "It is well with my soul."
Special thanks are extended to all of his caregivers and staff from Richfield Retirement Community.
All are invited to celebrate Mikes life on Thursday, April 8, 2021, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with his funeral service being conducted at 2 p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Dr. John Monty Fox will officiate.
