Michael Wayne Crowder

Michael Wayne Crowder, 56, of Salem, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015. He was born on January 26, 1959 in Alleghany County, Va. to James and Violet Crowder. Michael was a quiet and happy man. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as, fishing and camping and truly loved eating! Above all, he was known as a loving husband, father and grandfather! Michael was preceded in death by his father, James Crowder; son, Michael Wayne Crowder, Jr.; and brother, Bill Crowder. Family remaining to cherish his memory includes his wife, Patsy Owens; mother, Violet Crowder; children and step-children, Robert, Ricky and Jessica Crowder, Joshua and April Parker, Nickie Linkous, Rachel Dudley, Gary Owens, Jr. and Cotey Owens.
